I have the sweetest son i never imagined having. He is a chip off the old block. He is from The Gambia African Continent as it is called. We met on the internet about a year and a half ago. He calls me Mum which i think is funny and cool at the same time. He is a great young man of around 27 or 28 who is making an incredible contribution to humanity in Africa as well as other countries and continents. He has been here to the US last year for only three weeks and although it took us almost that time to learn to communicate and bond and trust each other - we finally achieved our goal of 'taking the first global step' together the day before he left the US. He now has founded chapters of Bajito Onda in countries in Africa such as Senegal, Dakar, Liberia, and Sierra Leone, where he was born. When i went to the U.N. Habitat for Safer Cities in Mexico in October I met Nydia Baba from Senegal who now is co-director. In the country of Kenya I have appointed Gathecha to establish our strong country ties there in that country. In Tanzania, an incredible woman i met in Mexico is Kaenelli and she is now director of Bajito Onda Tanzania Africa. all are countries I would like to visit one of these days. i feel i may be extended a formal diplomatic invitation to either Senegal or Kenya very shortly and i intend to go there to establish chapters of operating social programmes under the direction of myself and that country's leader along with the guidance of Amidu Mansaray...
i am getting very excited about the progress in Africa. Since working with the always smiling and equally wonderful Juma Assiago of Nairobi, Kenya who is the world director of the U N Habitat I am now understanding much better how the whole world is able to work in tandem and support peoples and children everywhere in their struggle to be heard and seen in society.
